Los Angeles Traffic Violations PDF Print E-mail

Restore your points on your California DMV driving record!

What can I do if I have too many traffic tickets and the DMV wants to suspend my license?

Call me immediately because the DMV only gives you 10 days or 14 days, depending on the type of ticket, to request a hearing. If you do not request a hearing within the specified time frame, the DMV will usually automatically suspend your license without considering your defense. If you have a lot of traffic tickets, you will likely get a letter from the DMV stating that you have a right to a “negligent operator” hearing. Most moving violations result in your getting one point on your DMV record. Others violations such as reckless driving, DUI, etc., accumulate two points.

If you have four points in a 12 month period, 6 points in 24 months, or 8 points in 36 months, you will be considered a negligent driver and you may lose your privilege to operate a motor vehicle. The DMV is required to take into consideration the amount of driving the person does. I am very knowledgeable about defending clients who have traffic violations and are in danger of losing their license.

As an experienced and dedicated traffic attorney, I have handled hundreds of traffic cases, including DUI's, speeding tickets, excessive speeding tickets (over 100mph), red light tickets, hit and runs, and all other types of moving violations.  Many times, I can handle your traffic case and appear in court with out you ever having to appear. My fees are very reasonable--as low as $500 for many types of traffic offenses. I am known to have a high dismissal rate because I am an assertive, detailed oriented, conscientious and highly skilled traffic and criminal defense attorney.
